Peninsula Seniors Lecture: “Flags, Fireworks, Founding Fathers and Hot Dogs”As part of the Peninsula Seniors Bohannon Lecture Series, this lecture by writer and researcher Ellen Mintz will focus on U.S. heritage and celebrations. There will be coffee provided. Check out more information here.

Palos Verdes 60th Annual Old-Fashioned Fourth of July Celebration

An old-fashioned Fourth of July celebration is returning to the Malaga Cove area. Expect family-friendly fun featuring music, games and civic awards. There will be classic events like an apple pie contest, a children’s bike parade, a magic show, live music and recognition of the Armed Services. Check out the schedule and further details here.

City of Rancho Palos Verdes Fourth of July Celebration

The City of Rancho Palos Verdes is holding its own celebration at the Ken Dyda Civic Center, offering plenty of fun for the entire family. It will offer live music, country music with line dancing, a beer and wine booth, food trucks, inflatables, rides, games and craft vendors. The night will end with a patriotic drone light show. City of Torrance Fourth of July Fireworks Show

There are still more options for your Fourth of July festivities, including a fireworks show hosted by the City of Torrance. There will be fireworks, live music and food truck options like Chicken King, Dinas Dumpling, Kona Ice and Travelin' Tom's Coffee Truck. The designated viewing locations will be the West Parking Lot, Courthouse, at 825 Maple Ave. and the LA Galaxy Sports Complex at 555 Maple Ave. Check out further details here.

Red, White & Boots

Terranea Resort is throwing its own Fourth of July bash. Join this event for face painting, line dancing, magic, an outdoor movie and a local drone display viewing. Check out details here.

July Fireworks Sail

The Los Angeles Maritime Institute is hosting a July Fireworks Sail, where you can head out on the water to view the San Pedro harbor fireworks display. Participants are welcome to bring snacks and drinks (without glass). Check out more info here.

75th Annual John Olguin July 4th Weekend Fireworks Spectacular

The Port of Los Angeles and the Cabrillo Beach Boosters will be joining in the festivities a day late, opting to host their fireworks show on July 5 at Cabrillo Beach.

AQUA – DJ Sunset Rooftop Lounge

Excursion: Festival of Arts & Pageant of the Masters

The City of Hermosa Beach is hosting an excursion to Laguna Beach for the Festival of Arts and the Pageant of the Masters. The Festival of Arts will feature work from more than 100 award-winning Orange County artists across a variety of mediums. The 2025 Pageant of the Masters, “Gold Coast: Treasures of California,” will feature living pictures from museums like the Getty, LACMA, Laguna Art Museum and Timken Museum of Art. Terranea Food and Wine Festival
