Happy Heavenly 96th Birthday to Goddess Marilyn Monroe

By Greg Schreiner

June 1st 2022 will be the 96th birthday of Marilyn Monroe. She was born in Los Angeles in 1926. Her legacy still continues today and she is the most remembered star from the Golden Age of Hollywood. Her star has ascended to the greatest heights and her films continue to be shown across the world. In almost any country you can still find images of Marilyn everywhere. To celebrate Marilyn's birthday, her fan club, Marilyn Remembered, is planning the first meeting of the club since Covid shut everything down over a year ago. They will gather at the El Coyote Restaurant on May 30th to honor her birthday. The event is sold out and promises to be a fun celebration. In June, Marilyn Remembered will be doing yet another celebration of her life on June 17th-20th at the Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. It will include an exhibit of items actually owned by Marilyn, a festival of films showing continuously, an exhibit of Marilyn images taken by photographer Milton Greene plus an additional party to celebrate her birthday in the forecourt of the theatre where her hand and footprints reside.

For those interested in learning more about the club or in join it, please go to:
