The Artist’s Studio Events at Malaga Cove Library
The Artists’ Studio of Palos Verdes presents “Art In The Cove”, an exhibit at the historic Malaga Cove Library in Palos Verdes Estates where twenty talented local artists will present new works for sale from April 20 through May 25, 2022. Twenty percent (20%) of each art sale will be donated to support the Malaga Cove Library with an additional five percent (5%) donated to support the Palos Verdes Art Center.
The public is invited to an Opening Reception for the exhibit on Friday afternoon, April 29, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. where guests can meet the artists, view the original works of art and participate in the Peoples’ Choice Award selection. Join the artists for light refreshments and the awards program presented by Friends of Library during the reception.
In addition to the Opening Reception, everyone is invited to “Visit With the Artists” on Wednesday afternoons (1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m., April 27, May 4, 11, and 25) in the Library Gallery where artists will discuss the artwork and answer questions about the process and inspiration for the paintings. A different group artists will host the program each Wednesday, so guests will enjoy attending all four Wednesdays events.
The Malaga Cove Library is located at 2400 Via Campesina ,Palos Verdes Estates and is open Monday through Friday 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and closed Sundays.
