George F Canyon Discovery Walk with the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy, Saturday, December 6th, 10:30am. Naturalists will guide you along a trail through the preserve to discover a unique variety of wildlife in their canyon habitat with amazing views of the LA Basin. Naturalist Guided Walk at Ocean Trails Reserve with the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy, Saturday, December 13th, 9am. Walk through an impressively restored habitat on top of an ancient slide area with spectacular bluff-top ocean views that are well worth the visit. Moderate. Create your own butterfly garden with a beautiful native plant from the Palos Verdes Peninsula. Our native plant expert will give you professional tips on creating a garden waystation and home for local species! Nature Club for Kids: Discover the World of Trees with the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy, Saturday, December 13th 10:30am – 11:30am. Join us at White Point Nature Education Center for a tree themed Nature Club. We'll learn about trees found on the Palos Verdes Peninsula, make a fun holiday craft, and plant a tree in the nature preserve! Ages 3-10.
Storytime Tails – Tree Time with the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy, Sunday, December 14th, 10:30-11:30am. Join us at White Point Nature Education Center for fun stories about the cool critters that live on the nature preserve with crafts and hands-on activities. Recommended for kids ages 3-6 and their caregivers.
