However you chose to use the purple flowers, on thing’s for certain. These beauties add appealing color and dimension to any outdoor space.

You will find more versatile than you had ever imagined. Purple creates a deeply vibrant contrast when paired with colors like pink or yellow, or you can blend them into a serene pool of blue flowers. Successfully adding purple flowers into your landscaping and garden plan is easy once you know all of your options.

Purple is a balance color that pleases the human eye.  Purple pleases the human eye because it is a balance color that combines blue undertones with warm red tones, and blends well into your garden or landscaping, or floral arrangements.

From simple and sophisticated to over-the-top dramatic, you can find a purple flower to work in your garden.

Why is purple such a loved color, especially with flowers? Well, it is the fusion or red, the most energetic color, and blue, the most peaceful one. But, as happens with colors, mixing two gives more than the sum of these two.

Purple conveys strong but at the same time peaceful emotions, and remember that a garden is an “emotion scape”, an expression of feelings, the sharing of an atmosphere, and, if you want, you can scatter some symbolism in it.

But what do purple flowers symbolize? Each flower has its own symbolism, but the color purple, has its own meaning: it represents dignity, success and even pride. The color purple is regarded as luxurious, even royal, on the other; it is a spiritual color, related to the higher self-fulfillment.

Color purple in plants is measured not only in ecological and evolutionary impact, but also by its pleasing appearance.

From a human perspective, we love purple plants. Purple is one of the most popular flower colors, yet one of the rarest colors in fruit and foliage.

The color purple also functions as a guide for pollinators. Flowers of many species have purple stripes on their petals, which are called nectar guides. These guides clearly lead toward the reproductive structure, or center, of the flower, increasing the chances for pollination.

Purple seed, pods and other forms of fruit then influence the reproductive cycle. The color purple will attract herbivores, which consume the seed and deposit it elsewhere. So in this case, purple helps distribute the species across the landscape
