Festival of Lights Diwali Celebration at Palos Verdes Intermediate School on November 12, 2023, from 4-8 pm By Contributor Shikha Vidjearadji

A quote that perpetually stirs my soul is: "Discover the passion that kindles your inner fire, allowing you to shine brilliantly, illuminating the world ✨." Diwali, bathed in divine radiance, offers a magnificent moment to fill our surroundings with the tender warmth of joy and togetherness.

I am wholeheartedly committed to nurturing a community wrapped in the radiant embrace of joy, luminosity, and spirited vitality. This embrace of unity and bliss is deeply rewarding. My steadfast involvement in organizing the International India booth at the elementary school stands as a tribute to this dedication. A tradition fervently maintained, where each year, the hearts of students and teachers are captivated by mesmerizing henna artworks and a splendid exhibition of Indian cultural heritage, cuisine, and magnificent jewelry.

A wonderful wave of enthusiasm has embraced me from those who treasure the depth and diversity of Indian traditions and culinary experiences. In a recent harvest festival at Lunada Bay Plaza, the joy of our culture cascaded through the sharing of henna artistry with a host of a hundred eager participants.

Fashion is yet another vibrant palette where I unfold my cultural expressions. By intertwining traditional Indian jewelry with modern outfits like shorts and tank tops, I illuminate the enchanting blend of heritage and contemporaneity, applauding the adaptable nature of cultural manifestations.

With immense gratitude for the abundant support and guidance from the PV School District, I am exhilarated to unveil plans to celebrate Diwali this year at Palos Verdes Intermediate School on 11/12, from 4-8 pm. We warmly extend an invitation for you to revel in an entrancing amalgamation of time-honored traditions and modern merriment, accentuated by a banquet of delightful Indian dishes and a pulsating Bollywood DJ.

Immerse yourself in this radiant homage to light, camaraderie, and cultural opulence. Let us weave together unforgettable moments, and seize the opportunity to encapsulate your joy in a delightful photograph with me!
