Eco-friendly Toys that Keep your Child Busy While Keeping Plastics out of the Landfills By Writer and Contributor Annamarie von Firley

If it feels like you can't find toys that aren't made from plastic these days, you are right! In fact, “the toy industry uses 10 tons of plastic for every $1 million in revenue and is the most plastic-intensive industry in the world. 90% of the toys on the market are made of plastic.” And much to our dismay, “Plastic toys can contain heavy metals such as lead or cadmium or other harmful chemicals such as dioxins.” [1]

But fear not, we are here to save the (Holi)day! We've curated 5 must-have plastic-free toys that will keep your child busy while you help clean up the planet.
