When I dedicated my life to professional photography, I had no idea the amount of hard work that was actually entailed. When I have time to shoot for myself, I do what I can to take as much happiness from it as possible, because the next wave of demand is right around the corner.

This spring I saw more foxes than any year previously and this little guy was quite happy to hang around and have his photo taken, even changing poses for me! My kind of model.
PVE was quite different in 1954. The street in front of the Hurzeler home was a dirt road. Mountain lions were still living on the hill. Haggarty’s surf spot had an intact, but falling-down, pier attached to what is now the Neighborhood Church.

Roughly 30 years back, you could even swim in the inner pier tiny beach area before it was eroded away. Then came the unfortunate fire of 1988 and a huge portion of the pier burnt down.
